Dirk is a United States Fencing Coaching Association certified Prevot (Level 4 Fencing Coach) in Epee, as well as Moniteur d’Armes (Level 3 Coach in all weapons) who has been Coaching since 2012.
Dirk runs classes in the Jefferson County Public Schools with the Derby City Fencing Academy’s after-school fencing program, Fencing Camps, and is the Epee Program Coach at DCFA.
Dirk apprenticed directly under Maestro Leslaw Stawicki for twelve years, and now teaches all three fencing weapons, with a specialization in Epee.
